Free agent left tackle Bryant McKinnie made the rounds as a free agent is supposed to, visiting with the Dolphins, Chargers and Cowboys, but in the end, he found himself back with the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens.
He was actually offered a contract by San Diego and more recently went down to Miami for a visit.
All the while, the Ravens kept him in their sites, and decided now was the right time to offer him something before it as two late. The team announced Thursday that they have reached a two-year deal with McKinnie. Per Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, the deal is worth $7 million, and is laced with incentives, including an undisclosed signing bonus.
“We worked very hard to get him back there,” McKinnie's agent Michael George told the Sun. “Bryant had offers from other teams. In the end, this was the best situation for him. He's real happy. I know they are.”
