Pro Sports Daily:
With rookie free-agent running back Cierre Wood being placed on waivers today the Texans will be looking for a third running back to play behind Arian Foster and Ben Tate both of whom were injured in Sunday’s 17-16 loss at Kansas City.
Foster is out with a hamstring injury. He said he should be able to play in two weeks against Indianapolis. Tate has bruised ribs. He left Sunday’s game but returned.
The Texans have another undrafted rookie Ray Graham on the practice squad. He could be promoted to the active roster or the Texans could sign a veteran free agent. Coach Gary Kubiak wouldn’t commit either way today but admitted they’re in the market for a replacement for Wood.

Arian Foster left Sunday’s game with a strained hamstring, the same one he initially injured one week earlier. Foster is said to have a “mild” strain, which normally correlates with a grade 1 (no tearing, just over-stretch) or low grade 2 (partial tearing). This is not something you hear everyday from an NFL team; college maybe, but not pros. The Houston Texans have released three players after some kind of team violation that occurred in the hotel the team stayed at in Kansas City.

What a clever idea. Buy a stock tied to the lifetime football earnings of Houston Texans star running back Arian Foster. San Francisco-based Fantex Holdings is issuing a million shares of stock in Fantex Series Arian Foster at the bargain price of $10.00 each.
I feel one of those late night, 30-minute infomercials coming.
