The Cleveland Browns have declared Brandon Weeden, Quentin Groves, Patrick Lewis, Martin Wallace, Shawn Lauvao, Keavon Milton, Armonty Bryant inactive for Week 3′s game against the Minnesota Vikings. Weeden injured his thumb late in Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. Browns coach Rob Chudzinksi made headlines earlier this week when he announced that third string QB Brian Hoyer will start over veteran Jason Campbell in place of Weeden in this afternoon’s game against the Vikings. Weeden has seen a specialist for this hand but the injury isn’t expected to require surgery. Oneil Cousins will start at RG in place of Lauvao. Defensive end Ahtyba Rubin will see his first action of the season after missing the first two weeks with a calf injury.
