It seems that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith has never quite found a home by the bay.

It doesn’t matter who the coach was or what the situation has been Smith has never without a doubt qualified as the quarterback of the future for that program for one reason or another.

His tale took another turn for the worst when despite being in the middle of his best year statistically; Smith watched another man lineup and earn the opportunity to take his spot.
