Found October 24, 2012 on NFL Draft Zone:

Redskins running back Alfred Morris has been nominated for Pepsi Max NFL rookie of the week following another strong performance on Sunday, and although he has not won a rookie of the week award, he has been the most consistent rookie of the year. Morris recorded his third 100-yard game, rushing for a career-high 120 yards on 22 carries in a 27-24 loss to the New York Giants. Morris now has 658 rushing yards through seven games, and ranks one yard shy of Houston’s Arian Foster for the league lead. Morris also has five rushing touchdowns. Morris is on pace to rush for 1,504 yards and 11 touchdowns. It’s the first time that Morris — a sixth-round pick out of Florida Atlantic University — has been nominated for rookie of the week, which is sad because he has been ballin in D.C.

Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III’s play thus far this season has been an eye-opener, even for the most optimistic Redskins fan. Santana Moss catches a go-ahead TD from RGIII vs the Giants   This connection could be picking up steam in the next few weeks He shouldn’t be doing what he is doing right now, but he is. Teams get pass-happy vs. Redskins porous defense

Passing yards are easy to come by when playing the Washington Redskins, to the point where other teams have figured out they don't need to run the ball nearly as much. On first-and-10, the opposition is throwing 58.8 percent of the time, gaining a heel-rocking 8.4 yards per pass. It's pretty easy to keep a drive going when faced with a second-and-1 or second-and-2. That...

With All The Talk About RG3, Don’t Forget About BR7

There has been a lot of talk this week about quarterback Robert Griffin III as the Pittsburgh Steelers prepare to host the Washington Redskins on Sunday. The talk is indeed warranted as the rookie is off to a great start. Instead of focusing on the Redskins offense today, I want to bring a couple of things to light about their defense, especially their pass defense. Heading into...

Washington Redskins at Pittsburgh Steelers: Week 8 NFL Pick

Washington Redskins (3-4) at Pittsburgh Steelers (3-3) In a couple other of my picks this week, I said it would be reckless to pick a heavily public backed dog this week with one exception. Dogs are 63-39 ATS on the season. You might think, that’s a reason to take the dog, but eventually that’s going [...]
