Losing to the Rams was just half the story for the Cards Sunday, as Derek Anderson had another tough day, and it ends up the QB also suffered a concussion.

Anderson was benched in the third quarter of the Cardinals’ 19-6 loss, and left without speaking to the media. A blow to the head is what caused the concussion, and if the QB will play next week against the Broncos at home is up in the air.

Kent Sommers of The Arizona Republic has already tweeted today that the QB’s “condition will determine if cards sign another QB. I’ve heard Richard Bartel, backed up Daunte in Sac in UFL.”

All in all, it doesn’t look like Anderson’s future is very bright in Arizona, as he and the Cards limp to a finish that will not include a third straight NFC West championship.
