Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said that wide receiver Andre Johnson worked out Friday, but will not play Sunday, according to Marc Vandermeer, the play-by-play voice of the Texans. “We kind of had a little setback (on Monday),” Johnson, said. The Miami product will miss his fifth consecutive game due to a right hamstring injury. “Just have to keep working hard and stay positive,” Johnson said. “At the same time, even though I was sore for a few days, I still think we’re headed in the right direction.” Coach Kubiak said Johnson is “very close,” but added, “Obviously, he’s not ready to go yet.” “Just like everybody else, I wish this process would be a lot faster than what it’s been,” Johnson said.
