You hear a lot of athletes talk about expectations and the pressure they put on themselves, like how nobody’s pressure or standards can be greater than their own. Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback Andrew Luck is living proof of that. Luck feels his performance so far is average at best. ”A ‘C’ is average, so I think I’d give myself a ‘C,’ ” Luck told the Associated Press. “The victories are what I judge things on. I think I’ve got to cut down on the turnovers and putting touchdowns on the board. I think perfect would be to win every game, and not have any incompletions or interceptions.” Man, talk about expectations. Luck broke Cam Newton’s rookie passing yards in a game record Sunday after putting up 433 up in a victory against the Miami Dolphins. He also tied Peyton Manning’s rookie record for most 300-yard passing games in as season, already having four so far this season. Luck so far has the Colts at a potential playoff-berth this season, already in at 5-3. Luck: humble and hungry at the same time. He is truly a legend in the making.
