As the beautiful Tina Turner once sang, “You’re Simply the Best.” All that’s missing is the fat lady singing with her, because this competition is pretty much over. The Colts took a commanding two-game lead this weekend, making them the far and away favorite to land Sir Andrew Luck.
The Colts had their easiest game on the schedule against the Jaguars at home and like they have in previous weeks came up very flat. The Colts have showed no signs of life at all since a close loss to Pittsburgh in week 3. At this point, 0-16 looks very realistic.
The one and only thing that would stop the Colts from landing Andrew Luck is Peyton Manning. Even that however seems to be a stretch however because some are even suggesting the Colts might attempt to trade Peyton if they draft Luck.
The Colts turned to Dan Orlovsky late in the game that could have provided a spark for the team but obviously did not. Orlovsky is most well known for not knowing where the lines of the end zone start and stop.
