Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that new Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is hoping to bring in Brad Childress as the Chiefs offensive coordinator. A previous report mentioned that the Reid could be targeting Doug Pederson to be the team’s next offensive coordinator. Both Reid and Childress go all the way back to 1986 when they were both part of the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks coaching staff and then reunited again in Philadelphia from 1999 to 2005. Childress went from quarterback coach to offensive coordinator before ultimately leaving to take the Minnesota Vikings head coaching job. Childress spent last season as the Browns offensive coordinator producing a 25th ranked offense in total yards and 24th in points scored in the league. Source: NFL Trade Rumors
