According to a Wednesday morning report by Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown had a confrontation with offensive coordinator Todd Haley during the Monday night loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Brown admitted Wednesday afternoon that he did indeed confront Haley during the game about his involvement in the offense, but also let it be known that everything is now smoothed over between the two. "We’re good," Brown said Wednesday after practice, according to Scott Brown of ESPN.com. "We just talked about some things we could do better as a whole and what we could do to get on the right page to start winning." The incident between Brown and Haley must not have been a very demonstrative one or else the ESPN cameras surely would have caught it. Brown said Wednesday that he absolutely would like the ball thrown his way more, but also understands that he has to let the game come to him. He also blamed his frustration on the team not being successful to start the season. "I guess that’s what happens when you lose,” Brown said. The Steelers former sixth-round draft pick has been targeted 16 times through the first two games of the season and has registered 11 catches for 128 yards thus far. After the first two games last year, Brown had 11 catches for 153 yards on 18 targets, so it doesn't appear as though he's being shunned this season in the passing game. When asked Wednesday afternoon if he knew anything about the tiff between Brown and Haley, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said he was not aware of such a thing. He did, however, say that if there was some sort of disagreement between the two, then frustration likely played a roll in it. "I don't see it being a bigger problem than that," the quarterback said. This is not the first time that a receiver has asked for the ball during a game, and it certainly won't be the last. Winning usually cures situations such as this and that is exactly what the Steelers will try to do for the first time this season Sunday night against the Chicago Bears. Should they lose to the Bears and start the season 0-3; however, you can expect frustration from several other Steelers players next week.
