Nothing should surprise us when Antonio Cromartie is involved. But this time it wasn’t Antonio doing something to make you think he’s crazy, it was his wife Terricka.
According to the New York Post, Terricka Cromartie sent her husband, who was in Miami at the time, a text basically saying that she had attempted to commit suicide. The text read, “God forgive me, I don’t want to die. What have I done?” and “I cut my wrists. I took those pills.”
Predictably, a fearful Antonio called the police back in New Jersey and explained, “there’s a problem at my house. She’s bleeding. She cut her wrists.” But once the police arrived, they realized that it was all a lie.
When no one answered the bell or phone at 21 Fairfield Ave., cops broke down two doors with an ax and sledgehammer, ran upstairs and found Terricka in bed with her two daughters.
Not a drop of blood in sight.
