Hines Ward and James Farrior have come out in the past week and made it clear that they plan on returning next season. Ward made a statement on Facebook and twitter. Farrior’s agent made a statement about his client returning to the field. I love both of these guys but they are going to force the Steelers to look like the bad guy in this situation.
Both players have declined over the past few seasons. Farrior is 37 and Ward is about to turn 36 in March. These guys have given years to the Steelers that they can not be cheered enough for. Both are 2 time Super Bowl winners. Both of them have been captains and leaders year in and year out. They are the players who all others look up to in this locker room. They may be about to cause a rift for those players.
