You remember Greg Paulus. The fiery little reserve point guard for the Duke Blue Devils who got under the skin of the Duke haters. Well Paulus didn't play a down of college football yet he worked out for the Green Bay Packers last week on the Duke campus.ProFootballTalk.com reported and a Duke spokesman confirmed that Paulus worked out for a Packers scout. He threw passes to All-ACC receiver Eron Riley who could go in the late rounds of the NFL draft.Seriously Paulus has football skills in fact he has quarterback skills. As a high school senior Paulus was ranked by Scout.com as the 9th best quarterback in 2004 and was ranked ahead of Colt McCoy from Texas and Chase Daniel of Missouri.Paulus could have played quarterback at Notre Dame or Miami but chose to play basketball at Duke.The last time Paulus took a snap at quarterback was at the 2004 U.S. Army All-American game for which he started.If the Packers do not draft or sign Paulus he does have a year of eligibility for football...
