Attention all fantasy owners, we can stop freaking out over Larry Fitzgerald and Wes Welker.
Both were among the top five targets in PPR Fantasy Drats, and they both should remain in the discussion for top five studs when the season concludes.
Clearly, losing your starting quarterback is a tough break, but the Cardinals could use a stronger arm in Kevin Kolb over a dinged up John Skeleton (ankle, out 2-3 weeks).
Tom Brady has repeatedly stated that Welker is the focal point of this offense and as usual Brady is correct. Josh McDaniels is the new offensive coordinator after having previous success with New England, but they feature so many superstars that the gameplan changes from week to week.
Stevan Ridley toted the rock 22 times against the Titans last week, and Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez were not even targeted that much.
In fact, nobody hauled in more than six catches as Brady threw it only 31 times as opposed to the 4...
BEST OF MAXIM
This quote is hilarious and if you can appreciate how Tom Brady is view by both sexes, then its really funny.
Brady was smacked in the nose by Kamerion Wimbley during the second quarter of the Patriots route of the Tennessee Titans.
Some of Brady’s teammates took it upon themselves to bust his chops a little bit. None more than pro bowl wide receiver Wes Welker.
Anyone feel like a 9-minute Wes Welker highlight video spanning his career from high school to the Pats? It’s Friiiii-day!
Wes Welker Chronology (by 11Prodigy)
Wes Welker is thirty-one years old and has made his mark in the NFL by being one of the premier slot receivers in a pass heavy offense led by quarterback, Tom Brady. Welker has excelled in this role since the Patriots obtained his services back in 2007. Since then, he has topped at least 1000 yards every year except once. Lets take a look at Welkers statistics...
Calm down, Welker will be fine this year
In Wes Welker's first five years with the Patriots he has averaged 110.8 receptions, 1,221 yards and 6.2 touchdowns per season. That is why after his week 1 performance of three catches for only 14 yards and only playing about 64% of the offensive snaps, many people questioned what was going on with him.
First, fans and "...
TEMPE, Ariz. -- If the Cardinals are looking for a new marketing campaign, they might consider a spoof on the immensely popular Dos Equis campaign: The Most Interesting Man in the World.
They could cast wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald in the lead role and call it: The Most Interesting Man in the NFL.
You already know Fitz as one of the NFLs greatest receivers. You already know about...

Oh week one, you have to be one of the greatest weeks to trade for an underperforming star. Wes Welker turned in a complete clunker of a game vs the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, going for 3 catches on 5 targets for 14 yards and in very un-Welker like fashion topped it off by dropping a pass on what would’ve been a sure first down. He’s the buzz of the week in terms of fantasy...
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Bill Belichick said Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald will end up as one of the best ever (Credit: AP Photo)
Bill Belichick is a pretty good assessor of talent. It seems as though each April analysts clamor over the New England Patriots draft. Oh and of course there is that guy named Tom Brady that Belichick helped to draft.
So when Belichick...
As the 1-0 Arizona Cardinals get set to fly east to take on the 1-0 New England Patriots on Sunday, let’s take a look at some interesting notes in their all-time series:
1) The overall series is tied up at 6-6.
2) The Patriots have won the last five contests.
3) The last time the two teams met was on a snowy day in Foxboro in Dec. 2008. This is one the Red Birds would like to forget...
The wide receiver position has never been more important to the game of football. With teams taking the the air more and more, and with quarterbacks signing huge contracts, the guys that catch all those passes are taking center stage in the NFL with some of the sport's most gifted athletes at the front of the pack. With such a huge amount of talent at the position, picking out...
Bill Belichick got one of his answers he was looking for in the Titans game. He found out that his defense can shut down a premier running back with speed cold in his tracks. Against Arizona this weekend, the question will be whether they can they shut down an elite receiver in Larry Fitzgerald. Starting quarterback John Skelton has an ankle sprain, so Kevin Kolb will be the guy...

While everyone was so excited to have Larry Fitzgerald lined up with first round pick Michael Floyd this year, they are both competing with a former Cardinal draft pick. Andre Roberts the former Citadel University standout has been tearing up the NFL in the past few weeks. Yesterday Roberts was given a huge vote of confidence by his coach...
One of Bill Belichick’s favorite hobbies is praising his opponent during the week leading up to a game. Belichick never wants the Patriots to take the opposition too lightly, so he floods the enemy with compliments and fills the newspapers with flattering quotes about them. On Thursday, the subject of his praise was Larry Fitzgerald.
“He’s a great, great receiver, will go down...
