It's been a story of two seasons between the Falcons and the Eagles. While the Falcons have reached new heights and claim the NFL's only undefeated record left this season, the Eagles are once again sputtering to find a rhythm and make their Superbowl dreams a reality.Come Sunday though, we will truly find out if the Eagles will finally get it together and if the Falcons are contenders or just pretenders.No. 1: LeSean McCoy will out-perform Michael TurnerBoth halfbacks have underperformed from their potential so far this season and have put up some disappointing numbers for fantasy owners.Michael Turner through six games has only 357 yards rushing with LeSean McCoy accumulating 459, but “Shady” has been unable to punch the ball in the end zone and has only one rushing touchdown all season.Against an improved Eagles defense that has a solid 13th ranked rush defense led by newly-acquired linebacker Demeco Ryans, look for the “Burner's” struggles to continue. McCoy on the other hand has also struggled recently with a very disappointing game against Detroit when he was only able to amass 22 yards on 14 carries.Going up against Atlanta's 28th ranked rush defense should allow McCoy to have a bounce-back game with some big numbers on the ground.No. 2: Julio Jones and Roddy White will tear up the Eagles' secondaryWith Eagles secondary coach Todd Bowles being moved to defensive coordinator after the firing of Juan Castillo, expect the secondary to have to fend for themselves as Bowles will be overlooking the entire defense now instead of focusing on just pass protection. The Eagles have done a decent job in defending the pass as they rank 15th in the league allowing 226.3 yards per game but they are facing a whole new monster with this talented Falcons receiving corps.Even when double teaming Calvin Johnson last game they still gave up 135 yards to “Megatron” and ultimately collapsed in the fourth quarter after being up by 10. Starting safety Nate Allen left the game against Detroit with a hamstring injury so look for Matt Ryan to test him out and look his way all game long.Expect extra attention to be on veteran Tony Gonzalez who is having himself another phenomenal year with 430 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns. Help on Gonzalez will allow Matt Ryan to hit his dangerous receivers on deep routes and put holes in the Eagles' secondary. Bowles is expected to bring the pressure on Ryan but man to man coverage will not be enough to cover these receivers.No. 3: Matt Ryan will out-due Michael VickWith both teams having suspect defenses going into this game, expect this one to be a shootout with huge numbers offensively for both teams. It seems like Michael Vick has some extra motivation playing against his former team after putting up big numbers last year in Atlanta before leaving the game with an injury.Vick has the bye week to try and shore up his turnover problems but in a high scoring affair look for him to do too much and turn the ball over once again. This game looks like it will come down to whoever has the ball last.Out-duel is the key word because Vick and Ryan will each have big performances for their teams but expect Vick's turnover proneness to give Ryan the chance to win the game. In a rowdy Lincoln Financial Field fired up by the league's most passionate fans it will be a tall task for Atlanta, but were seeing a new “Matty Ice” this year.Ryan has stayed cooled under pressure and is putting up MVP performances with clutch drives in the last three games. The Falcons have beaten their last three opponents by a combined 12 points. Although Atlanta has not been the most dominant undefeated team, they continue to do what the Eagles have been unable to sustain, which is finishing off close games.More and more pressure is on coach Andy Reid and quarterback Michael Vick with each passing game. The home crowd might do more harm than good with a tight game on the horizon. Both Reid and Vick are already feeling the pressure from Philadelphia's crazed fans and in front of their home crowd there will be no hiding.Reid does have his perfect 13-0 record after the bye week under his sleeve, but it might be cancelled out with Atlanta coming off a bye too. It might be the final game for one or both of them if the Eagles sputter again late. After throwing his fellow coach Juan Castillo under the bus last week it might be Reid's turn if his latest move does not translate into victory.
