The Atlanta Falcons have began their offseason and have signed MLB Coy Wire to a 2-year deal, while releasing safety Erik Coleman, according to the Atlanta Falcons official website.
Wire becomes the first free agent the Falcons have signed this offseason, and they still have plenty more left. Expect a busy couple weeks for the Falcons front office when they have to make decisions on who they should keep, and who they should let go.
Wire played in 15 games during the 2010 regular season, and was a special teams captain. He finished the 2010 year with a total of 12 tackles.
