New Jersey police do not consider Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt a suspect in a pair of violent incidents last weekend, according to his attorney. “They told me there was no chance, zero chance,” of Britt being arrested, attorney Robert Lane said on Wednesday. “That’s what they told me. It is an investigation and Kenny is not a suspect in it.” Police sought Britt for questioning about an altercation that resulted in a friend being stabbed, and about a gunshot fired at an apartment a few hours later near the scene of the altercation. Britt and Lane met with Jersey City police late Tuesday night. “He came in, and that’s all I can tell you,” Capt. Edgar Martinez said. “The investigation is still going on.” Martinez wouldn’t say if Britt, 24, is a witness or a suspect. Source: The Tennessean
