Ray Lewis calls it a squirrel dance. Seconds after the Ravens beat the 49ers Sunday in New Orleans, someone captured video of a Baltimore cop doing the squirrel outside an unnamed bar. Serve and protect? Not only this cop gets her/his (there is some debate whether that’s a guy or a woman) dance on. Can those of us who aren’t Ravens fans agree that none of us will miss this garbage? Deal? Deal. In case you don’t know how to do the squirrel, those number freaks over at Business Insider have you covered. Since when did business sites teach readers how to do stupid NFL dances? Baltimore Cop Does Ray Lewis Squirrel Dance

Right after the Baltimore Ravens won the Super Bowl, a fan captured a female cop outside of an unnamed bar doing Ray Lewis’ famous “squirrel dance.” It’s a pretty weak version of the dance, but we’ll give her an A for effort. She should’ve taken notes from Denver Mayor Michael Hancock. [BustedCoverage] var conf_58641 = { APIKey: '2_N1YlfjHIEAtyRAK3CAYRE5a1aBuANuMOCLc_7hsOQ1...

Lewis ends NFL career in championship fashion

So, Ray Lewis, now that you've won a Super Bowl, what's next? No, he's not going to that amusement park. The Baltimore Ravens linebacker is heading into retirement - and he can't wait. ''Now I get to see a different side of life,'' Lewis said Sunday night after helping the Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers 34-31. ''My family, and my sons...

Ray Lewis painting (Photo)

Ray Lewis III part of Miami's signing class

For Ray Lewis III, going to Miami has been a safe assumption since the day he was born. His father - the newly retired Baltimore Ravens star linebacker Ray Lewis - played for the Hurricanes. His mother is a Miami graduate as well. So when it came time for their son to pick a school, the decision was easy. Lewis III was one of 10 players to send letters of intent back to Miami on...

Lights Out! Ravens, Flacco Sends Ray Lewis Out On Top

It’s no better way, as a champ, to go out on top and ride off into the sunset. It’s a refreshing story for the greatest middle linebacker of all time, Ray Lewis, who will leave the game in style. He finally gets to the Super Bowl after winning a  championship ring 13 years ago as a Raven. He finally rejoices in a gratifying moment, only to be part of team that has a gifted quarterback...

Ravens' journey ends on top

The journey couldn't have ended any better for a team that embraced storied linebacker Ray Lewis and his "last ride" into retirement -- even if it took the Baltimore Ravens an extra 34 minutes to get there because of an in-game power outage at the Superdome. The 49ers mounted a furious comeback when the stadium lights came back on early in the third quarter, but the...

Ravens won't be distracted from task

When the Baltimore Ravens arrived in New Orleans on Monday night, they more than likely expected the culmination of the month-long Ray Lewis Farewell Tour that the media had been throwing him since the start of the postseason. Instead, those Ravens have dealt with controversial comments from Bernard Pollard, even more controversial comments from Ed Reed and a whole lot of talk about...
