Last Friday night, the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel paid tribute to Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis, who is retiring from the NFL at the end of the team's postseason run, with a laser light show on the front of the hotel. Between 5:30pm and 9pm, the laser images displayed across 15 floors of the building, alternating between the number 52 and an animated version of Lewis doing his signature pre-game dance. The Ravens went on to defeat the Denver Broncos 38-35 last Saturday night, so if Ravens fans are superstitious, they would have no choice but to do this again this week, wouldn't they? H/T Sportress. Boston Billboard Counting Down the Days to Ray Lewis’ Retirement Party (Photo)

I have to admit this is pretty funny. I don’t think the game will be a blow out, the Ravens and Patriots always play close games. If the Ravens win this will be a lot of wasted money.

Boston Wants To Throw Ray Lewis A Party

More specifically, a retirement party. Everyone please meet in the conference room after the AFC Championship Game for refreshments and a farewell speech. Ray Lewis will then be presented with a nice send-off gift, like a diamond-studded bowie knife. Though if the Ravens win, that could make things a touch awkward. Dare I say this is “bulletin board material”? Can you fit a billboard...

Tony Gonzalez- Not Ray Lewis- Is the Future HOF’er We Should Be Rooting For

It’s apparent that most football fans who don’t have a horse in the race are rooting for the storybook ending for Ray Lewis.   A man whose career and persona, personify the essence of what pro football is all about.   A man whose raw athleticism and sheer grit and toughness make him a god … Continue reading »

Peyton Manning and Ray Lewis Talk After the Game

In one of the best NFL playoff games of all time between the Denver Broncos and the Baltimore Ravens, the Ravens won the game 38-35 and are moving on to play New England in the AFC Conference Championship game. It took two overtimes for the game to produce a winner. In a game that saw pick 6’s, kick and punt returns for touchdowns you almost forgot about the fact that this could...

Tom Brady will be looking for Ray Lewis

It's been news conference day today, ahead of Sunday's AFC Championship game between the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens, a day which will hopefully be known as "Ray Lewis's Last Game". And it will be the last game between Lewis and Tom Brady, a match up which has always been great. And we know Brady and Lewis respect the heck out of each other...

Baltimore Ravens Travel to New England for Championship Rematch

Ray Lewis’ powerful locker room speech from last year’s heart-tearing loss in the AFC Championship at the hands of the New England Patriots included the prospects of holding heads high, getting back to work, and returning to the very same position this season.Despite the incredible odds against accomplishing such a feat, the Ravens defeated the top seeded Broncos, 38-35, in Denver...

NFL Conference Championship Picks

Playoffs: 5-3  REGULAR SEASON: 168-86-1 (66%) Def. I can't believe I'm making this selection, but I just have a feeling the Ravens are on that kind of roll the Giants had last year. The return of many players including Ray Lewis has really rejuvenated this team. I don't have a big write-up on this one because logic does indeed point to the Patriots...

Ravens player says Patriots do "suspect stuff on offense", includes spygate reference

So it didn't take long for the very mouthy Ravens to start trash talking the Patriots. This time it wasn't Ray Lewis, it wasn't Terrell Suggs. Nope, it was someone you've never heard of. Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo. He pretty much pulled out all the hard hitters on this one.New England does some suspect stuff on offense. Can't really respect it. Comparable...
