With the Baltimore Ravens struggling in their receiving end, they ventured into the free-agent pool on Sunday and came to terms with 34-year-old Dallas Clark. The Ravens have been searching for someone to fill the shoes of Dennis Pitta, who was lost to a season ending fractured hip in late July. Similar to Brandon Stokley, Clark once played under the Ravens’ current offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell when he was in Indianapolis. Clark has 474 catches for 5,322 yards and 50 touchdowns in his 10 NFL seasons. He caught 47 passes last season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for 435 yards and only 4 touchdowns. Although Jamison Hensley, an ESPN AFC North blogger thinks that Dallas Clark will no longer be the big play maker like he was 5 seasons ago, he still expects the Ravens offense to heavily rely on his field presence.

Dallas Clark still has a lot left in the tank for Ravens...

Baltimore Ravens: Stokely and Clark Signings Will Pay Dividends

Pitta, a third year tight end out of BYU, caught 61 passes last year for Baltimore in a Super Bowl winning season.Losing Pitta so early in the season meant that the Ravens' QB Joe Flacco would be without one of his most potent threats. Instead of putting more pressure...
