One of this year's proposed rule changes includes one that'd make it illegal for runners to lead with the crown of their helmet when outside the tackle box. Matt Forte is not a fan. The Bears running back took to Twitter to voice his displeasure, calling it the "most absurd suggestion of a rule change." https://twitter.com/MattForte22/status/313322926659207168 Forte continued: https://twitter.com/MattForte22/status/313323794435538950 https://twitter.com/MattForte22/status/313324150510981123 Hard to argue with Forte, who knows a thing or two about carrying the football. But, his opinion aside, the NFL's Competition Committee will do what it thinks is right in the name of player safety. With this week's league meetings taking place in Arizona, this proposal is sure to be a major topic of conversation. And, if Forte has the pulse of his peers, probably not in a positive light.
