Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was limited again in practice on Friday and will have to be cleared by an independent neurologist before he will be able to play Sunday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports. Coach Lovie Smith said Cutler will probably see the independent doctor on Saturday as he seems to return after being knocked out of the Nov. 11 game vs. the Texans with a concussion. He is likely to be listed on the injury report as questionable for the game against the Minnesota Vikings at Soldier Field. “As you listen to me talk about him, he’s looking better,” Smith said. “The last phase of his evaluation will be tomorrow. Then we will be able to let you know a little more from there. Cutler was cleared earlier in the week to return to practice, and he took the field for the first time on Thursday when he was limited. He needs to remain asymptomatic to be cleared for a game. Source: The Redzone Attached Thumbnails
