Bears running back Matt Forte participated in at least portions of practice on Wednesday at Halas Hall, three days after he left Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings with an ankle injury. The Bears returned to work in preparation for this Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks at Soldier Field and they were shorthanded. Although Forte was doing at least limited work, four projected starters and six players total were sidelined. Cornerback Charles Tillman (foot), linebacker Lance Briggs (ankle), wide receivers Devin Hester (concussion) and Alshon Jeffery (knee), guard Chris Spencer (knee) and tight end Kellen Davis (unknown) were not practicing.
