According to Jason LaCanfora, the Bears have received permission to interview Seahawks' offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, making it a dirty dozen of candidates.
LaCanfora tweeted: "The Bears were granted permission to interview Seahawks OC Darrell Bevell last week. Add him to the long list of candidates in Chicago."
Bevell's coaching resume is a pretty interesting one. In addition to coordinating Russell Wilson's option runs and offense, he also ran the 2009 Vikings offense, the season Brett Favre excelled in purple. He spent five season as the Minnesota offensive coordinator before moving to Seattle in 2011. Prior to Minnesota, he was a coach with the Green Bay Packers.

After yesterday’s road win at FedEX field, Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman told the media that the noise level from the crowd was nothing compated to Seattle’s fans at Century Link Field.“Nowhere near as loud as our home. They have more (capacity than SEA) but they don’t make enough noise.”Because of the way the Seahawks’ home stadium was constructed they might have...
The Seattle Seahawks will face their divisional-round playoff battle at Atlanta without their top pass rusher, as defensive end Chris Clemons has a torn ACL, according to reports.
Clemons suffered the injury in Sunday's wild-card win at Washington and had an MRI that reportedly confirmed the injury on Monday. Clemons was not hit on the play and appeared to get his cleats caught...
While the Seattle Seahawks were able to defeat the
Washington Redskins and advance to the Divisional round of the NFC playoffs,
they lost top pass rusher Chris Clemons in the process. While Clemons has been
diagnosed with a knee injury, the Seahawks fear that it’s severe and possibly
even a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), reports Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
LANDOVER, Md. -- In the spotlight of the playoffs Sunday, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson outshined his more heralded rookie counterpart, gimpy Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III. As a result, Seattle rallied for a 24-14 wild-card victory Sunday at FedEx Field. The Seahawks quickly fell behind by two touchdowns, and they allowed Wilson to be sacked...

The Seattle Seahawks are hoping their fears are not true. Chris Clemons
The team fears that defensive end Chris Clemons did not tear his ACL after being hurt in the Seahawks vs. Washington Redskins Wild Card playoff game. Head coach Pete Carroll said in his post-game press conference that he is worried...
(Eds: With AP Photos.) By TIM DAHLBERG AP Sports Columnist This was always going to be one of those once in a decade quarterback classes, even before Russell Wilson announced his arrival from what is arguably the loneliest outpost in the NFL.
Everyone expected big things out of Robert Griffin III and Andrew Luck. Wilson was more of a pleasant surprise, catapulted from third-round...
he turf at FedEX field has been the subject of a lot of discussion after Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III and Seahawks defensive end Chris Clemons suffered knee injuries in the Seattle's 24-14 win over Washington.

"It was horrible, it's a horrible field," Carroll said...
When players from the Seahawks and Redskins met at mid-field following their NFC playoff game, it was only a matter of time before Richard Sherman and Trent Williams found each other.
The result was so talking and then attempted punch/shove by Williams to the face of Sherman. As players were seperated the Seattle corner took a chance to wave.
Seattle won the game 24-14 and will play...
There is a reason I’ve held off until last to predict this game and it isn’t because it is the last game of the weekend. The reason I’ve procrastinated on this one is simply because even as I’m writing it, I’m not sure who I’m going to pick to win it. When two of the hottest teams in the league face off in the 5th seeded Seattle Seahawks and the 4th seeded Washington...
NFL insider Jason La Canfora reports that the San Diego Chargers are interested in Mike Holmgren for their vacant head coaching job.
Holmgren has recently served as team president for the Cleveland Browns in the last three years before agreeing to mutually part ways. Holmgren has not coached since 2008 when he was with the Seahawks, but Holmgren has made it clear that he is open...
I've been sick as a dog this week, and through all the vomiting and the groaning and the general misery this game has stood out like a bright, shining beacon on the horizon. The Seahawks and the playoffs, together again -- how great is that?
When the Hawks improbably clawed their way into the postseason in 2010 with a 7-9 record, all they did was pull off one of the most...
