Chicago Bears cornerback Charles Tillman and tight end Martellus Bennett are questionable for Sunday's game at Washington.
Both were limited in practice on Friday because of knee problems.
The Bears elevated linebacker Jerry Franklin to the active roster from the practice squad and placed middle linebacker D.J. Williams on injured reserve. Williams, signed in the offseason to help replace Brian Urlacher, ruptured his left pectoral muscle tendon against the New York Giants on Oct. 10.
Franklin appeared in the final three games last season for Chicago, recording two special teams tackles.

Even before entering the 2012 NFL Draft Alshon Jeffery had ties to the Chicago Bears in a way. He had often been compared to Brandon Marshall in size and ability. But very few, if any, scouts could foresee Jeffery ending up on the Bears. In fact, most of them had him going to the Bears’ NFC North rival Minnesota Viking who were reportedly enamored with Jeffery; but with the...

The Chicago Bears are off to our nation's capital this weekend for a showdown with another team which has a terrible record in the Washington Redskins, but there are no gimmes on the road especially with the warts the Bears have been showing on defense.

“Besides he’s got a lot of...
The Chicago Bears (4-2) head to D.C. to take on the Washington Redskins (1-4) Sunday at noon.
This season has been a bewildering one for the Redskins, who are a year removed from an NFC title. Quarterback Robert Griffin III expected to come back from his ACL injury and do very well off the bat, but that has not been the case. He has thrown five interceptions through five games so...
Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is more than a little bit familiar with Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall. You wouldn’t know that based on Cutler’s assessment of his upcoming opponent. On Thursday, Cutler was asked if he was looking forward to facing Hall again on Sunday. He responded by saying plenty without saying much. “Another […]

"That's the goal," he said.
Cutler addressed the media Tuesday for the first time since he was injured in a loss at Washington on Oct. 20. The Bears said he would miss at least...
