Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has made it clear that he’s willing to miss a game this season if it conflicts with the birth of his baby. “I’m not missing the birth of my child,” Roethlisberger said emphatically, per the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “There’s no chance. I know some fans probably don’t want to hear that, but there’s no chance.” Roethlisberger says they’ll do what they can to not miss a game.  I have no idea what he’ll do.  It’s hard to control when a baby is ready to be delivered. “We’ll do everything we can to make sure it doesn’t happen,” Roethlisberger said of trying to avoid a game-day birth. What does this mean for Fantasy owners? Well just be sure to check your baby pool before starting him this weekend! Follow our Fantasy Football Partners @BulliesPub

2012 Steelers Player Prop Bets For Roethlisberger, Wallace, Brown, Miller & More

The fine folks at Bovada have passed along to me the NFL Football Player Props, Football Proposition Bets that are available for certain Pittsburgh Steelers players. I have to admit that the under on the first four props certainly is inviting as I feel the offense will be a little more focused on the run early on in the season. The good news is that we dont have long to wait...

The Steelers leader is currently awaiting the birth of his son and has already gone on the record to state that no matter what the cost, he will be there to welcome his child into the world later this year. Roethlisberger willing to miss game for birth of child

In June, Ben Roethlisberger announced that he will enter fatherhood later this year, the second AFC North quarterback to do so. Three months later, the Steelers quarterback announced nothing will stand in his way of being there when it happens — not even his job. “I’m not missing the birth of my child,” Roethlisberger said, via the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “There’s no...

Expectant father Roethlisberger will skip game if needed

Ben Roethlisberger is about to become a dad, and he's not taking the life-changing event lightly. That includes being present for his son's arrival -- even if that means missing a game. "I'm not missing the birth of my child," he said, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "There's no chance. I know some fans probably don't want to hear that...

The most overrated and underrated Steelers

Most underrated Steelers Players Brett Keisel – Most people outside of Pittsburgh don’t know nor realize how good Keisel is. He holds down his side of the field and is about half the reason why the team is so good against the run. He sheds blocks well, occupies blockers well, tackles very well and is almost never out of position. While not as criminally underrated as Aaron Smith...

Steelers' James Harrisson wont speak to the media until Friday

The Pittsburgh Steelers will open the season Sunday night against the Denver Broncos, but the status of one of their best players on defense remains unclear. All-Pro linebacker James Harrison was limited in practice Wednesday and did not practice on Thursday, according to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. Harrison was officially activated by the Steelers last week after...

Can the Pittsburgh Steelers Soar to Seventh Super Bowl?

I’ll be the first to tell you that the Steelers’ window is closing.  11 of the 13 players with 9 years’ experience or more are starters, including their star QB and 2-time Super Bowl winner “Big” Ben Roethlisberger.  The remaining 2 on that list are both of his backup signal callers.   All the starters in that elite secondary have 10 years or more in the league except...

Which Steelers player has the most to prove in 2012

If you asked anyone which Steelers player has the most to prove this year you would get a lot of answers. Some of them would be ridiculous; Ben Roethlisberger, Troy Polamalu, Brett Keisel, James Harrison, Ike Taylor, Ryan Clark all have proven all they need to and are simply building their legacy. Others would make [...]
