The Cincinnati Bengals have wrapped up their practice preparations for the Sunday game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field and their final injury report shows a few new additions.
Cornerback Adam Jones (hamstring), linebacker Vontaze Burfict (illness), and long snapper Clark Harris (not injury related) were all added to the injury report on Friday. Jones is listed as questionable after being limited during the final practice of the week with a hamstring injury. Burfict and Harris are both listed as probable and are expected to play despite sitting out the Friday session.

Bengals pin playoff hopes on Dalton, defense
If it doesn't happen now, when? That is the simple question that the Bengals must address as they face Pittsburgh on Sunday. With a victory, the Bengals advance to the postseason in consecutive seasons for the first time in 30 years. They also beat one of their division rivals to show they have taken the next step. In order to do that though, quarterback Andy Dalton is going...
Bengals Injury Report: T Andre Smith Added Thursday With A Foot Injury
The Cincinnati Bengals remain a very healthy team as they head into their game this Sunday at Heinz Field against the Pittsburgh Steelers and their Thursday injury report reflects it.
Cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick (head) was unable to practice on Thursday after practicing fully on Wednesday and the word is that he suffered a setback with his concussion that forced him to miss the...
Cincinnati Bengals: Week 16 NFL Power Rankings (#15)
Last week: 14 (-1)
Record: 8-6
Net points per drive: 0.49 (7th)
DVOA: 4.4% (12th)
Weighted DVOA: 14.6% (7th)
The Bengals are 8-6 and control their own destiny for a playoff spot, but their struggles against playoff caliber opponents should be their undoing. Andy Dalton was 0-8 against playoff teams last year and he’s just 2-4 against playoff contending teams this season. In all...
Cincinnati Bengals stadium to host Ohio St spring game
The 2013 Ohio State Spring football Game will be played April 13 in Cincinnati at Paul Brown Stadium, officials from the Ohio State Department of Athletics, Cincinnati Bengals and Hamilton County announced today.
As you well know, people in central Ohio have no life, so this scrimmage, this opportunity to see third-stringers battle one another routinely draws 80-90,000 people; reflecting...
Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers: Week 16 NFL Pick
Cincinnati Bengals (8-6) at Pittsburgh Steelers (7-7)
Apparently the roof is falling in Pittsburgh. They’ve gone from favored by 4.5 to favored by 3 (passing two key numbers) and the public is still on Cincinnati. Why? Because they lost in overtime in Dallas in a game that was meaningless for them because they still control their own destiny? Because they lost another game as non...
Steelers, Bengals likely to decide the AFC's final playoff spot on Sunday
The Bengals could lock up a wildcard position in this year's playoffs with a win Sunday against the Steelers. Meanwhile, the Steelers could all but lock up a wildcard position by beating the Bengals. In short, the 6th seed in the AFC playoffs will likely be decided this weekend.
While the Steelers trail the Bengals in the wildcard race by one game, they aren't in a powerless...
Bengals Kicking Decision Likely To Come Down To Sunday
With two kickers on the roster for another week, special teams coach Darrin Simmons indicated on Thursday that the decision to go with either Mike Nugent or Josh Brown on Sunday at Pittsburgh will likely be made right before the inactive lists are submitted at 11:30 a.m.
It is also possible that both could be active for the game even though Simmons did not sound enthused about...
On The Precipice: Three Keys To Victory
Having been a fan and observer of the Cincinnati Bengals for over 30 years, I can say with honesty that I have witnessed most of the team’s seminal moments. Both Super Bowls, almost every playoff game, six head coaches, two home stadiums, and the reigns of both King Paul and King Mike.
It is a rare time and unusual time in Bengaldom. Marvin Lewis has reconfigured the team from...

Bengals 3.5-point Dogs In Playoff ‘Play-In’ Game
If we were doing the “confidence points” thing that is popular in college bowl pools – from 1-10 with 10 being the most confident I could possibly be about the Bengals beating the Steelers in Pittsburgh this Sunday … I would go with a 3.5. I don’t think it’s some insurmountable challenge – the 2012 Steelers are just not very good – but they’ll probably use their...

The conflicted Steelers host the red-hot Bengals today at Heinz Field. But as Marvin Lewis said, "Your scuffles get over in a week, and so can your hotness."
