The Cincinnati Bengals earned a much-needed victory over the Pittsburg Steelers Monday night. The Bengals (1-1) now sit atop of the AFC North tied for first with the Baltimore Ravens (1-1). However, this hard fought victory banged up a few Bengals, most notably defensive end Robert Geathers and cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick.Coley Harvey of ESPN.com reports that Geathers, who left the game late in the second quarter, sustained an elbow injury. The injury occurred when Geathers collided with teammate Reggie Nelsonwhile trying to make a tackle.Per Bengals twitter feed below, Kirkpatrick suffered a strained hamstring and did not return to the game.
