Bengals OL Smith returning from injury, practices

First-round draft pick Andre Smith is back practicing with the Cincinnati Bengals, who have gotten next-to-nothing out of the offensive lineman so far. Smith missed all of training camp and the first three preseason games in a contract holdout. Two days after he signed, he broke his left foot during a non-contact drill. He put on one of the Bengals' blank practice jerseys on Wednesday - a pristine white one that had yet to get a grass stain - and participated in some of the afternoon practice.
