Here are the inactive lists for the Bengals and Texans with just over an hour until kick-off: Bengals:  CB Jason Allen, TE Richard Quinn, DT Devon Still, DT Brandon Thompson, WR Dane Sanzenbacher, RB Daniel “Boom” Herron, and S Chris Crocker Texans:  OT Antoine Caldwell, FB Tyler Clutts, CB Roc Carmichael, OL Andrew Gardner, CB Stanford Routt, OL Cody White, and NT Terrell McClain For the Bengals, there are no real surprises, considering Crocker showed up as doubtful on yesterday’s injury report.  Unfortunately, the quad injury he suffered in the first quarter last week apparently hasn’t healed enough for their liking.  This may create a problem for the secondary, as the Bengals will more than likely turn to Nate Clements and Taylor Mays to fill the void.  Much has been made of how much the defense’s improvement over the second half of the season coincided with Crocker’s return.  Thompson and Still have been regulars on the inactive list thanks to Cincy’s deep defensive line.  Sanzenbacher just got to the Bengals so his being inactive is also no surprise.  Herron has been coming on as of late, but with Cedric Peerman healthy, the Bengals couldn’t carry an extra back.  Quinn and Allen were once again inactive, and I really have to wonder what the Bengals see in them.  Quinn hasn’t played at all this year, and Allen has been down 99% of the time since camp–and he was a fairly expensive free agent. On the Texans side, their offensive line continues to go through health issues, as well as their linebacking corp.  The Texans placed ILB Tim Dobbins on IR last night, and called up practice squader Cameron Collins, who is active.  Veteran journeymen Barret Ruud and Bradie James will start at the inside linebacker spots. Crocker being down hurts the Bengals, but the Texans may have more issues with the offensive line facing Cincinnati’s front four, and BJGE may find the matchup with Houston’s inside backers to be favorable.
