PLAYERS: Buddy Nix
TEAMS: Buffalo Bills
Buffalo Bills’ general manager Buddy Nix told the media during his pre-draft press conference that he believes there’s a quarterback worthy of being taken with the 8th overall pick.“You know, I think there is,” Nix said, per the Buffalo News. “And also I’ve said from Day One this quarterback class is better than everybody thinks it is. It’s better than the publicity they get. By that I mean there’s about five or six of those guys, maybe seven, that do a lot of things good and do ‘em good enough to win.”Nix of course didn’t guarantee that the Bills will take a quarterback with the 8th pick, but he’s clearly looking for franchise signal-caller.“I said this from the start, that two or three of these guys will be franchise quarterbacks. I believe that.”I would almost guarantee that the Bills will take a quarterback with either their first or second round pick. Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })();
