Buffalo Bills kicker Rian Lindell injured his right shoulder while making a tackle during Sunday's 27-11 loss to the AFC East rival New York Jets.
Lindell made a diving stop along the sideline to trip up Joe McKnight on a 59-yard kickoff return to open the second half.
Lindell, who came up holding his shoulder, was able to convert a 24-yard field goal attempt later in the third quarter. After doing so, he couldn't raise his right arm and angrily tossed the kicking tee with his left hand.
Punter Brian Moorman handled the ensuing kickoff after quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick found David Nelson for a 7-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
