Buffalo Bills WB Ryan Fitzpatrick kept the Bills very very slim playoff hopes alive, leading his team on five consecutive scoring drives to knock off the Jacksonville Jaguars 34-18.
While his numbers weren’t all that great, 9 for 17, 112 yards, 2 TDs and INT, they don’t quite tell the whole story. Sure it was against a struggling team like Jacksonville, but he persevered without his two top receivers in this game. Stevie Johnson didn’t return after injuring his left hamstring in the 3rd quarter and Donald Jones was out with a calf injury.
Running back Fred Jackson had a decent 101 rushing yards, along with C.J. Spiller scoring on a 44-yard dash that had Buffalo ahead 34-10 early in the 4th.
