The Buffalo Bills rewarded hard-working fullback Corey McIntyre, signing him to a two-year, $1.85 million contract. "You can't count in statistics what he brings to our football team, he's a true tough guy," Bills coach Gailey said in remarks distributed by the team.. "He loves to play the game. He's a hard-nosed football player." McIntyre, 31, operates as a traditional fullback, but has 34 rushing yards and nine catches for 54 yards in 26 games in Buffalo. Now, he'll be blocking for C.J. Spiller and Co. for the next few years. "It was great," McIntyre said. "For a person who's traveled the road I've traveled, to actually having your first real contract, I can't even describe the feeling." McIntyre said he's going to keep the fullback spot from falling into extinction. "Yeah. I won't let it die," he said. "Even the other fullbacks out there, we continue to not let that position die. We love it. That's why we play it. It's never going anywhere. We're going to keep it alive."
