From the drop, I've been in the camp that Rush Limbaugh as an NFL owner was a horrible idea. I think even if you get past the liberal/conservative element clash, which obviously a lot of people in the comments of the last post couldn't do, there's still the issue of just how poorly the man handles race relations in very public settings. This is, as you'll recall, the same man who once said "the media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well," when talking about Donovan McNabb. (By the way, if you ever want some opposition to that argument, go check out how Jason Campbell has been covered over the last year.) He also recently commented that basketball was the favorite sport of gangs, a comment dripping with racial overtones given other comments the pundit has made in the past.
