Giants running back Brandon Jacobs was understandably excited about his team once again defeating the Patriots in the Super Bowl. But his explanation of what the win meant was certainly a bit out there.
Jacobs was asked by ESPN's Rachel Nichols what it meant to defeat New England in two Super Bowls, to which he replied (while holding his two sons), "We decapitated them."
"They can't wear that crown no more, baby," he added, "can't wear that crown anymore."
Well, that's certainly an interesting take on the game, Brandon. The Giants no doubt deserve all the credit in the world for taking down the Pats on the big stage once again, but very few will categorize the win as a beheading.
