Anybody who has followed Brandon Marshall’s career knows a happy ‘Brandon’ is a very dangerous football player. When Marshall doesn't feel the love….well…. He has grown a lot from when he came into the NFL, he’s a calmer more mature man. Getting traded to the Chicago Bears could have been the best thing that has happened to him in a while. First Lovie Smith, with all his offensive shortcomings was a father figure who seemed to balance Marshall out, Smith’s calm demeanor rubbed off on him. Coach Marc Trestman seems to be having the same effect on Marshall with his multiple offense that should open things up for Marshall to ‘do his thing.’ Either way, he loves coming to work and a happy “Brandon’ is a very productive one. “I was just talking to McCown this morning and one of the things we said is it’s so cool to come to work where it’s not one of those things where it’s dreadful,” Marshall said, via John Mullin of CSN Chicago. “And it’s not just coach [Marc] Trestman and the new guys here. It’s just the organization, period. When you could come in and just do what you’re supposed to do and you don’t have to worry about all of the other fluff and the business side of things, it’s cool.” “I’m ecstatic,” Marshall said. “I’ve never been around better coaches. Lovie [Smith]: amazing coach, amazing man. Coach [Mike] Shanahan: amazing coach, one of the gurus of the game. Josh McDaniels: One of the gurus on offense. But what we have here in coach Kromer and coach Trestman, their leadership on offense is amazing. I’ve never been around it.”
