Report: Jairus Byrd never asked for a trade, “ill will” does exist with the Bills

Even though Bills safety Jairus Byrd signed his franchise tender, there’s some “ill will” between him and the Bills organization, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. There was also a rumor floating around that Byrd asked to be traded.  That isn’t true, per Rapoport. I don’t see things ending well with both sides.  Byrd wants to be valued higher than what Buffalo...

Bills, Jairus Byrd have relationship that badly needs patching up

Believe this: Jairus Byrd is not thrilled about returning to the Buffalo Bills on their terms. There's no reason to doubt Byrd will enjoy playing football or that he'll bring the competitiveness that sent him to two Pro Bowls in his first four seasons. I'll be surprised if Byrd's first comments to reporters don't include flowery remarks about the Bills. But...

The ruling, announced by the league Wednesday, becomes the next step in clearing the way for the two-time Pro Bowl safety to open the season on the active roster. Byrd, however, must...

Jairus Byrd signs his one year franchise tender

The Buffalo Bills have announced that safety Jairus Byrd has signed his one year franchise tender. Now Byrd has to show the Bills he worth a big-time contract...
