The Atlanta Falcons have re-signed 2009 first round selection Peria Jerry. The underachieving defensive tackle is coming off a career year with 33 tackles and 3.5 sacks, but his play since being drafted has never lived up his potential highlighted by his career at LSU. This move is very surprising, and is most likely a signal that Atlanta does not plan to draft any defensive tackles within the first few rounds of the NFL Draft. To recap: Atlanta has now signed four defensive tackles since free agency began.
