The Atlanta Falcons have made their first big move of the off-season. Gabe Carimi was a former first round selection in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. New offensive line coach Mike Tice was his coach in Chicago, bringing a familiarity of schemes, techniques, and personality to the Atlanta Falcons. Carimi brings added depth to an embattled young offensive line. While Carimi may have struggled in Tampa Bay, he is still a young talented tackle with the opportunity to turn his career around in Atlanta. He has struggled recently, and is in no way expected to start or make the team. However, the former first round selection is not ready to give up on his playing career. Under Tice, Carimi should be able to quickly make his presence known in the trenches. How do you feel about this signing Falcon fans? Are the Falcons sending a message or merely silencing the critics?
