Britt has not talked to police about the incident in Jersey City

Kenny Britt Britt is not a suspect at this present time. Also, there is not much information about the incident that happened in Jersey City that led to his “brother” being stabbed and shots being fired near an apartment. “We are asking if anyone has any information about Kenny Britt’s whereabouts to contact the Jersey City police department, and that includes the owner of the Titans,” Capt. Edgar Martinez said. “Anybody who has information where he is or has a phone number where he can be reached, please contact the police department’s investigative division at 201-547-5460. He is still not cooperating.” In the early morning hours of Sunday, Britt went to Jersey City Medical Center, where he dropped a man off with a stabbed wound. The former first rounder would not tell hospital officials what happened to the man. Britt has not been seen since he dropped his friend at the hospital. According to NFL spokesman Greg Aiello, the league is looking into this. The former Rutgers star has had nine run-ins with the cops since he was drafted in the 2009 NFL draft. He was suspended one game for violations of the league’s personal conduct policy last season. There was a statement released on Sunday night. But police do not believe it came from the wide receiver. “Kenny was leaving a dinner cooked by his friends’ parents — it was not a house party — when he found his friend, who had left earlier, injured outside. Kenny immediately brought his friend to the hospital and was there with the injured friend’s family for several hours, but was not otherwise involved in the incident. … Kenny has made himself available to cooperate with the authorities’ investigation of this matter.” Martinez, the police captain, said the police are talking to the prosecutor’s office about their options. “At this point he is still not cooperating with police,” he said. “So whatever statement he puts out is false.” © 2007-2013 The Capital Sports Report.
