Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas has had a break out year this year and has been a huge target for Peyton Manning. Thomas is big and and fast and he is a matchup nightmare for defenses. Last week when the Broncos were facing the Redskins Thomas went down with an ankle injury and it looked to be somewhat serious. Ankle injuries can be tricky to deal with because of how nagging they can be.
According to Thomas’s twitter account he received good news. He tweeted out that his ankle injury was not a high ankle sprain that he should be back sooner rather than later.
Just left the facility MRI showed it wasn’t a high ankle sprain so I won’t be down long. Be back soon #CantWait

This is great news for the Denver Broncos because Thomas has been a diamond in the rough for their offense and he only makes it harder for defenses to cover each receiver and tight end on the team.
