Broncos guard Chris Kuper appeared to take another step Thursday in his return to the lineup when he participated in practice drills.
"He was limited, but he did practice though," Broncos coach John Fox said, no doubt hoping Kuper will be at least ready for the playoffs.
A regular in Denver's starting lineup for the past six seasons, Kuper has been inactive for nine games this year due to injuries. An ankle injury suffered Nov. 4 at Cincinnati has been slow to heal, and he sat out the past three games.
Recently, Kuper also has dealt with migraine headaches and did not practice Wednesday. But following Wednesday's practice, Fox did not count out Kuper for Sunday's home game against Kansas City.
