Broncos Place Safety Quinton Carter On Injured Reserve List -
The Denver Bronco have placed S Quinton Carter on injured reserve, the team announced on Saturday. Carter did not practice all week with a knee injury and was listed as out for this week’s matchup. The Broncos promoted rookie S Duke Ihenacho from their practice squad to take his place Carter started 10 games last season but a torn right hamstring at an indoor practice July 27 led doctors to discover he needed arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. He returned Aug. 30 but played mostly on special teams.
