Broncos safety Quinton Carter isnt going to let a little thing like knee surgery keep him off social media.
Carter, whose season ended last weekend when he was placed on injured reserve, Tweeted and posted a picture on the social media site Instagram from the hospital following his surgery.
Team sources said last week the safety would likely need a microfracture surgery. Carter reaggravated a pre-existing injury when he fell on the artificial turf at the South Suburban Sports Dome on the second day of training camp. Denvers practice had been moved inside because of weather.

Manning sick over Walton, glad to have Koppen
Peyton Manning says he's sick over center J.D. Walton's broken ankle that ended his season and feels fortunate a veteran like Dan Koppen is able to step in.
Manning said Wednesday that while everybody was focused on his arm strength upon his arrival in Denver seven months ago, the biggest thing on his mind was working with his new snapper to get the center-QB exchange down...
NFL First Quarter Report Card: Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos knew that the spotlight was going to shine brightly on them after signing Peyton Manning. John Elway was fully aware that would be the case. McGahee keeps proving the doubters wrong

Ten years later, McGahee is still proving the doubters wrong. He just recorded his 32nd 100-yard rushing game, more than any active NFL running back and one...

But did they improve enough to control an attack that became just the second in NFL...
