The Cleveland Browns are not expected to pursue New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marques Colston.
Colston is expected to become a free agent on Tuesday after the Saints could not reach a deal to keep him. The Browns are not expected to spend a lot of money in free agency.
Thus, this eliminates the team from going after the No. 2 receiver in the open market. Colston is expected to leave the Saints after the team franchised quarterback Drew Brees. The move gave Brees more money that could have went towards re-signing Colston.
The Browns need more help than just a wide receiver. They need help at a variety of positions.
