Browns starting fullback Owen Marecic is among Cleveland's notable inactives against the San Diego Chargers. Marecic, who has dropped four short passes this season, is healthy but will not dress Sunday as the Browns (1-6) try to win their second straight home game. Cleveland will also be missing injured defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin (lower leg), wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi (hamstring) and cornerback Dimitri Patterson (ankle). Massaquoi has missed five straight games with the lingering injury. Browns rookie running back Trent Richardson will play despite being limited all week in practice with a rib cartilage injury. Richardson gained just 8 yards last week against Indianapolis before he was benched by coach Pat Shurmur. Slot receiver/return specialist Eddie Royal will not play for the Chargers (3-3) because of a hamstring injury. --- Online: and
