A few months ago, the Cleveland Browns had no interest in re-signing impending free agent Peyton Hillis.
But the team has decided to change their mind. The change came after Hillis “worked his way back into the team’s good graces.”
The team will start to negotiate with Hillis in the coming weeks. But will only offer Hillis the “right price” that they believe he’s worth.
It is rumored that the team is willing to offer him a four-year, $11.2 million deal. That is the same deal that the New Orleans Saints signed Pierre Thomas to.
But Hillis reportedly wants a bigger deal. The wants the four-year, $18 million deal that the New York Giants signed running back Ahmad Bradshaw to.
