Cleveland Browns running back Montario Hardesty could be in line to start Thursday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Browns running back Peyton Hillis has been listed as day-to-day with a hip injury suffered in Sunday's loss to Baltimore. It was Hillis' second game back since sitting out five contests with a hamstring injury.
Hardesty has not played since suffering a calf injury against San Francisco on Oct. 30. He had rushed for 95 yards on 33 carries in a 6-3 win over Seattle the previous week.
A first-round draft pick in 2010, Hardesty's rookie season was wiped out by injury. He has rushed for 244 yards on 75 carries this season.
